Palo Santo Cleansing Wood Sticks

Few rituals are as simple or as transformative as lighting a stick of palo santo. This is holy wood in the truest sense, sourced from the coast of South America, where it has been burned in sacred ceremonies for centuries to clear negative energy, invite healing, and restore calm to a space.

Palo santo is one of the most fragrant woods in the world. Its warm, resinous smoke carries notes of pine, mint and lemon, instantly recognisable and deeply grounding. Burning it is said to replace stagnant or negative energy with healing energy, bringing good fortune and a sense of peace to any room, person or object it touches.

To use it, light the tip of the stick and let it burn for around 10 seconds, then gently blow out the flame. Pass the smoke over yourself, your crystals, your home, or anything you wish to cleanse. The stick will carry on smouldering gently, releasing its fragrance as it goes, and you can either let it extinguish naturally or press the tip against a fireproof surface.
