The Journey Behind Every Crystal: Our Approach to Responsible Sourcing

At Hart, Body and Soul, we choose every crystal with great care. Its colour, clarity and character are part of its beauty, but so too is the story of where it came from and the people connected to its journey.

My crystals come from around the world, sourced either directly or through trusted suppliers who work directly with the mines. I can trace where my crystals have come from, and I believe that knowing their provenance is an important part of offering them with confidence and integrity.

Ethical sourcing is not a phrase that I use lightly. I choose to work with small-scale, artisan miners and with suppliers who support fair and safe practices. I also value family-run businesses, including some that do meaningful work to support women within their industry. Wherever possible, I want the relationships behind my collection to reflect care, respect and responsible choices.

Quality matters just as much. I try to source the highest grades available and take care over authenticity, particularly because the market contains many lower-grade and even counterfeit pieces. Each crystal is selected with a discerning eye and with the standards I want Hart, Body and Soul to represent.

For me, true luxury is found in thoughtfulness, transparency and the quiet confidence that comes from choosing something well. I want you to feel connected not only to the crystal you bring into your life, but also to the care taken before it reached you.
