Kyanite is most commonly found in it's blue form but also exists in black, green and orange varieties.

These specimens are largely Blue Kyanite combined with Black Kyanite, Mica and Quartz.  However one specimen also has Green Kyanite growing alongside it.

Blue Kyanite forms in bladed specimens of varying sizes but it can be polished to create a lustrous finish.

This specimen is largely Blue Kyanite with Mica with a small amount of Black Kyanite present also.

These specimens are prone to flaking and are fragile.
