Natural Citrine Freeform Bangle
Natural Citrine is a transparent, yellow variety of Quartz, ranging in colour from pale to golden yellow, honey or almost brown and may contain rainbow or sparkle inclusions.
The name comes from the French word citron, meaning "lemon". It was used as a gem in Greece as far back as 300 B.C and because of its colour, it is sometimes mistakenly referred to as Gold Topaz, Madeira, Spanish Topaz or Safranite.
Much of the Citrine seen on the market is actually heat treated Amethyst which is a darker burnt orange colour.

These beautiful bangles feature a polished natural Citrine freeform (from Minas Gerais) held securely in a fancy claw setting. They originate from Brazil where some of the best natural Citrine on the market is found today.
There are two options available:
Option A: Gold Plated
Option B: Silver Plated
This kind of plating is called Galvanoplasty, an electrochemical process that consists of coating a metallic base with gold or silver layers through electrodeposition. This method is done only on the metal bases of the products, before placing the stones, and serves to increase the durability of the article and give a high quality finish.
These bangles have a brass base covered with noble metals (gold or silver), giving them a finishing similar to fine jewellery.
This is the best quality plating on the market, free of cadmium, lead and other heavy metals, using 18k gold in a layer of 10 thousandths or 1000 silver in a layer of 30 thousandths, ensuring excellent durability and great finish. This entire process guarantees a product of high quality and strong resistance.
The bangle in the photograph may not be the exact one you receive as no two natural pieces are the same size or shape. It will however be very similar.
Each bangle is fully adjustable so will fit most wrist sizes.
