Selenite is the transparent colourless crystalline variety of gypsum described as having a moon like glow.

Selenite is named after Selene, the Greek Goddess of the Moon.  In ancient times, it was believed that certain crystals followed the waning and waxing of the moon and this included selenite.

Selenite has a calm and soothing energy that helps to stabilise and balance the emotions and quieten the mind. 

It is a high vibration crystal that protects from physic attack and is excellent for spiritual work and meditation.

Use the selenite plate to amplify and charge the energy of your other crystals by sitting them on it (as demonstrated - crystals not included).
