Moss agate is a semi-precious gemstone formed from silicon dioxide. As it is not banded, it is not technically agate but in fact a form of chalcedony which includes minerals of a green colour embedded in the stone. These minerals form filaments and other patterns that are suggestive of moss, hence the name.
Moss agate is a stone of abundance, protection and new beginnings. It balances the emotions, enhances mental function and aids in recovery from illness.
Moss agate also encourages gardening, green fingers and the growth of new crops. It is often referred to as a plants best friend!
Druzy is believed to be associated with peace, tranquillity, patience, intuition, and unconditional love.
They open blocked energy, amplify the body’s natural healing properties and strengthen the spirit. They also provide the balance necessary to avoid depression or unnatural feelings of fear or dread.
This tower is just stunning with a large druzy cave to the front and a smaller druzy cave to one edge. It is a beautiful combination of white sparkly quartz, green moss and blue chalcedony. I also suspect she has a little bit of golden healer near to her tip.
